Call them troublemakers or disruptors. You can even call them changemakers. But definitely call them women. Here are quotes from a few female troublemakers.
Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. Let us begin.
Mother Theresa

Fear is always with us. But we don’t have time for it. Not now.
Hillary Clinton

When the whole world is silent, even one voice becomes powerful.
Malala Yousafzai

I have learned you are never too small to make a difference.
Greta Thunberg

When you undervalue what you do, the world will undervalue who you are.
Oprah Winfrey

All adventures, especially into new territory, are scary.
Sally Ride

There is always light. If only we’re brave enough to see it. If only we’re brave enough to be it.
Amanda Gorman

Women belong in all places where decisions are being made. It shouldn’t be that women are the exception.
Ruth Bader Ginsberg

My favorite is from RBG. Love it!
I love it, too!
A wonderful set of quotes from women who’ve dared to stand out! I find Oprah’s quote rings so true for me.
Greta Thunberg hasn’t worked for a living for very long. So, what does she know about life in the real world? Our fathers and grandfathers – many of whom sacrificed their health (if not their lives) in order to provide for their wives and children – could tell us a few things. Sadly enough however, us broads think we know it all.
Since it’s her generation and her future children who will pay the price, she has every right to take a stand and demand we act now to change her future. The whole point of her quote is that someone who is young and small can make an impact. Why would anyone think that because she is young she doesn’t get an opinion? It’s her future. She deserves an opinion. Sadly, we, and the generations before us, plugged away at earning a living at the expense of the environment and their own health. We are seeing those effects in extreme weather, extreme fires, higher temperatures, and rising seas. Whole islands are disappearing or have already disappeared in the Pacific because of the rising sea levels due to melting glaciers.
And tiny Greta, all 4’11’ inches of that 15-year old (now 17) made everyone in the world stop and look. Sure, there are those who will deny what’s happening right in front of their very eyes, but hopefully, there were enough that actually saw it and realized we have to do something about it.
Love beautiful, inspiring quotes. Thank you for these.
I love all of them. For some reason I had trouble pinning them, though.
The adage is right: Wel behaved women never make history!
