This week’s Sunday Stills photography challenge was the phrase “for the birds.” And boy do I have pictures that fit that challenge. One thing we noticed since moving to Florida is the number of birds that are all around us. Orlando is filled with small and large lakes and there are all sorts of birds that like to make their home around them. What’s with all these birds in Orlando?
But the best pictures that I have come from a small park in Orlando called Gatorland. I think it lays claim to being the oldest park in Central Florida because it opened in 1949. I don’t claim to know the names of any of the birds except the Pink Flamingo, but they sure are beautiful.

I hope you enjoyed this ‘for the birds’ photo challenge. #SundayStills is found on Terri’s Second Wind Leisure blog.

I’m glad you stopped by, Terri. I’m having fun with your photo challenges, I hope it will increase my skills.
