There are people who put their dreams in a little box and say, Yes, I’ve got dreams, of course, I’ve got dreams. Then they put the box away and bring it out once in a while to look in it, and yep, they’re still there.
Erma Bombeck
I love this quote from Erma Bombeck. It’s so true, you know a lot of people who talk about their dreams, but never act on them. Then it’s too late for them to even try and all they can do is think about what might have been. I’ve seen this happen to a lot of people and it saddens me. Don’t put your dreams in a box.
If you put your dreams on hold last year, then it’s time to take those dreams out of your box, dust them off, and start making plans. Think you’re dreams are too big? Then break them down into steps and smaller goals.
Are you ready to figure out what your dreams are? What do you really want to do?

Good post and reminder to live in the moment. We never know how much time we have to pursue those dreams, so we better get to it!
Exactly. It’s also the reason I use the good silverware for all our meals. It used to sit in a box and only come out once a year or two. I prefer to enjoy it now and not “save it” for a special occasion.
I think using the good silver is ALWAYS a smart idea!
So grateful I love to write, which is easy to do anywhere. As long as there’s paper and pen, writers can write. We have few excuses. Darn!
