Tom Clancy graduated with a degree in English and then went on to work in Insurance, even owning a small agency. He wrote novels in his spare time and sold his first, The Hunt for Red October when he was 37 years old. He lived what he was talking about.
You have obligations. I have obligations. Obligations might slow our dream or even pause them for a little while. But in the end, obligations can’t kill your dreams–only we can kill our dreams. Even if you can only set aside 30 minutes a day or maybe even an hour, follow your dream. It’s that important.
