Since the theme, this week was around play and imagination being important for creation and decision making, I thought we would have fun with this prompt. Here is a huge fail by a record executive who passed on The Beatles. Â Imagine being the one who made that decision….well, I guess I am asking you to imagine exactly that and write about it! Â Or take the quote anyway that you want to and have some fun with it. Â A lack of imagination leads to failure.
I’ll be sharing what I create in my newsletter.  I hope you’ll share with me as well.  You can do that through the comments or share it online through your own post or website and then link back to this page so I can see what you’ve created.  You can keep it to yourself too, but I hope you share. I’ll be sharing my pieces through my newsletter.  If you are interested in seeing more, you can sign up below.
Good on those lads from Liverpool for never giving up and still chasing their dream. I think I’ve heard one or two of their tunes, and they were pretty catchy.
I don’t even know how I’d get through the day if I lacked imagination. The voices in my head are totally in agreement!
I know what you mean. If what was chasing around in my head didn’t come out on paper, then there could be some serious consequences.
OMG – that must be the most epic failure of all time in the music industry!
I know. I wonder how it must have felt to know they passed on them.
To be honest, for me, the big fail was by the executive who DIDN’T pass on the Beatles – I can’t stand them!
Oh…You disappoint me. I’ve always liked them.
