I love Christmas.  There is something about this holiday that tugs at my heartstrings and makes me feel like a kid again.  Yes, I am that adult that still looks up at the night sky hoping to catch a glimpse of Santa.  Can’t help it because truly it’s the most wonderful time of the year.  Merry Christmas everyone.  Here are some classic Christmas songs that I loved to hear when I was growing up (and still love to hear.)

White Christmas is one of our favorite Christmas movies.  We watch it on Christmas Eve.  Bing is a big part of my Christmas memories.

When I was growing up Bing Crosby and his family put on wonderful Christmas specials.  Like a Bing movie, there was music and laughter and in the below…David Bowie.

One of my favorite tunes is Greensleeves.  It’s a beautiful English folksong.  Legend has it that King Henry VIII wrote it for Anne Boleyn, but there is no proof for that.  What is known is that when William Dix wrote What Child Is This in 1865, he set it to this tune.

And because I live for this day that John Lennon and Yoko Ono imagined.
